ETERI LAMORIS - lives in London and Madrid and works as touring singer in various theaters around the world.
Eteri Lamoris studied with Lamara Chkonia (famous opera singer in formed USSR), Renata Scotto, Ruthilda Boesch and Dolores Ripolles (a pupil of Elvira Hidalgo).
Even at the beginning of her carrier she sang in various festivals and theaters such as the Verdi Opera Festivals in Italy, in The BOLSHOI Theater, Festival of Tours in France, Haydn Festival in Austria, Koblenz Festival in Germany, "Menton Festival" in France.
At the age of 21 she was acclaimed as "one of ten best voices in the world" in the OPERALIA World Opera Contest (1994) where she also earned special award: "Public Prize" of Vienna together with tenor Jose Cura. Eteri Lamoris was awarded at nine international competitions. Seven of them were FIRST PRIZES.
Later she signed a two-year contract with the Arriaga Theater in Bilbao where she often performed with Marco Armiliato, Luis Lima, Denis Graves, Vicente Sardinero and later Eteri Lamoris has associated with Graz Opera.
She sang in the principal opera theaters of Barcelona, Madrid, Naples ("La Boheme" produced by F. Zeffirelli), Turin, Nice, Vienna, Stockholm, Dusseldorf (Lucia di Lammermoor, produced by Christof Loy), Bonn ("Romeo et Juliette" produced by G.C. Del Monaco),Nantes, Sevilla (La Scala production), Palm Beach, Bern, Venice, Trieste ("Les Contes d'Hoffmann" - conducted by D. Oren), Washington ("I Puritani" and "Pagliacci" -at the La Scala production with Placido Domingo), Pittsburgh, Mexico, Hannover (Haydn, "L'Incontro Improvviso" - under direction of Adam Fisher), Rotterdam, Mannheim, Paris (with Charles Dutoit), Praga (concert with "Praga Virtuosos Orchestra"), Rio de Janeiro ("La Traviata" produced by Sonia Frisell and Giani Quaranta), Tours (concerts with "Moscow Soloists Orchestra" under Mstislav Rastropovish patronage), Oslo, Singapore, Parma and many others. She also performed the roles of Rosina, Adina, Linda, Euridice (Gluck), Susanna, Margueritte, Manon (Massenet), Amina, Amenaide and some Russian opera roles.
After successful concerts during spring and summer 2003 in Germany, Portugal, Italy and USA she has decided to renew her repertoire, which is now based on the operas of Mozart, Rossini, Bellini, Donizetti, Gounod.
Ms. Lamoris recorded a CD of popular opera arias with Beaux Records of Berlin. She recorded the new album of Spanish and Latin American songs for Romeo Records of New York. Actually she continues to work on new album of virtuosos arias of Haydn, Handel, Mozart and Vivaldi.
