so the press wrote about Milagros Poblador’s KÖNIGIN DER NACHT. The Spanish soprano already sang this role at the Vienna State Opera, the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Barcelona, the Zurich Opera House, the Semperoper Dresden, the Rheinoper Düsseldorf , the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Théâtre de la Monnaie Bruxelles, the Opera House Frankfort, the New Opera Ireland Dublin, at the Opera House Bonn, in Tel Aviv, Bilbao, Japan, Italy and Spain. International guest appearances already took her as GILDA to St. Gallen, she was very successful as ZERBINETTA in Barcelona. At the Teatro de la Maestranza, she sang a remarkable SOPHIE in ‘Der Rosenkavalier’ and she made a big impression as NORINA in Don Pasquale, a part she also performed at the Teatro Real Madrid. Her ADINA at the Teatro Calderon Valladolid in the same year was equally impressive and she had great triumphs as DIE SEELE (Die Jakobsleiter) in concerts with the Radio Symphony Orchestra Amsterdam at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam.. 2005 she portrayed LISETTA (La Gazetta) at the Gran Teatre del Liceu Barcelona and MARINA (Marina) in Valencia
From 2000 until 2004 Milagros Poblador was a member of the Vienna State Opera ensemble and in future she will perform at this renowned opera house as a guest singer In Vienna sang roles such as the KÖNIGIN DER NACHT (Zauberflöte), BLONDCHEN (Entführung aus dem Serail), ELVIRA (L´Italiana in Algeri) , OLYMPIA , AMINA (La Sonnambula), MUSETTA (La Bohème), OSCAR (Un ballo in maschera), GILDA, ZERBINETTA and LUCIA.
Milagros Poblador began her musical training at the age of 9 at the Real Conservatoria Superior de Musica in her native town Madrid. First she absolved piano lessons and at the age of 18 she started studying singing. At the same time, she studied Pharmacy at the Universidad Complutense. After finishing her singing studies with honor, she continued her vocal training with Francisco Lazaro in Barcelona.
Milagros Poblador won various singing competitions, such as Francisco Vinas in Barcelona (1994), Julian Gayarre in Pamplona (1994), Reine de Belgique in Brussels (1996),....
Afterwards the young soprano worked in her native country on the most important parts of her repertoire. She sang LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR, VIOLETTA (La Traviata), MUSETTA (La Boheme), OSCAR (ballo in maschera). In Palma de Mallorca, at the Gran Teatre del Liceu Barcelona and at the Opera House Graz, she was KÖNIGIN DER NACHT; she sang BLONDCHEN at the Festival of Peralada, in Parma and NANETTA (Falstaff) in Oviedo, the role of OLYMPIAin Bilbao and SOPHIE (Werther) at the Festival of Santander.
Besides she regulary sings concerts in Spain and Austria.
