| Marek Janowski is currently the Music Director of the Orchestre Philhamonique de Radio Radio France, a post he has held for 11 years. He has appeard with many of the world's great orchestras - Berlin Philharmonic, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester, Munich Philharmonic, Bayerischer Rundfunk, Dresden Staatskapelle, Leipzig Gewandhaus, NDR Hamburg, London Symphony, Philharmonia and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestras, and in the USA with the Boston Symphony, the Philadelphia and Pittsburg Orchestras. He guest conducts at leading opera houses such as the Metropolitan, Vienna and Munich Staatsopers.\n\nJanowski has made a number of recordings including a renowned version of The Ring for Ariola-Eurodi. He is currently recording Weber's operas and has recorded the complete Beethoven piano concerti for BMG and Roussel Symphonies 1-4 for RCA. |
