Andrea Concetti graduated with honours from the «Gioachino Rossini» Conservatory of Pesaro. He continued his studies with Sesto Buscantini and Mietta Sighele. In 1990 he won the International Competition «Iris Adami Corradetti» in Padova and the year after the 46th Competition for Young European Singers «Adriano Belli» in Spoleto.

After his stage debut in Rossini's La scala di seta and Il signor Bruschino at the Macerata Opera Festival in 1992, Andrea Concetti appeared in the most important theatrical institutions in Italy and abroad, working with such conductors as Maurizio Benini, Richard Bonynge, Gustav Kuhn, Donato Renzetti and with such directors as Daniele Abbado, Filippo Crivelli, Piero Faggioni and Stefano Vizioli.

He made his successful debut at the Teatro alla Scala in the opening production of the 1996/7 season in Gluc's Armide under the baton of Riccardo Muti. His successful career brought him also to perform in such operas as Madama Butterfly (Sharpless) in Spoleto and Sassari, Boris Godunov in Parma, Wolf-Ferrari's Il segreto di Susanna, Ravels L'heure espagnole and Il turco in Italia at the Teatro Verdi di Trieste, La Cenerentola (Dandini) in Sassari, Don Giovanni (Leporello) in Köln and Sassari, Falstaff in Spoleto, Rossini's Torvaldo and Dorliska at the Wiener Konzerthaus, Tannhäuser in Palermo, L'elisir d'amore in Rome, Modena and Ravenna, Les contes d'Hoffmann in Catania, Il barbiere di Siviglia (Bartolo) at the Avanches Festival, Don Pasquale (Malatesta) at the Teatro Rendano di Cosenza, Le convenienze ed inconvenienze teatrali (recorded for the Ricordi label) at the Festival Donizetti in Bergamo, and the world première of Pasqua Fiorentina at the Teatro Grande di Brescia (which has also been recorded on Cd),

Very active on the concert side, Andrea Concetti recently performed Stravinskij's Pulcinella and Schubert's Mass in G at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome and Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle at the Teatro Massimo di Palermo. He has just sung Mozart's Requiem in Paris, Köln and on a tour of the Théâtre des Champs Elysées to Madrid.

In 1999 he sang in Carmen at the Teatro Massimo Bellini di Catania, in Il barbiere di Siviglia (Bartolo) at the Bellinzona Festival, in Don Giovanni (Leporello) in Verona and in Paisiello's Le due contesse at the Teatro Rendano di Cosenza.@Andrea Concetti opened 2000 season singing in the role of Don Alfonso in Così fan tutte under the baton of Claudio Abbado, a successful production also broadcast on Italian television. He subsequently performed in Simon Boccanegra at the Salzburg Festival, with the Berliner Philarmoniker, as well as in Ferrara, Parma and Bolzano led by Claudio Abbado, in Le convenienze e inconvenienze teatrali in Montepulciano, followed by I Capuleti e i Montecchi in Catania, La Cenerentola and Così fan tutte in Trento, Bolzano and Rovigo, Don Giovanni at the Opéra National de Paris, L'elisir d'amore at the Teatro Valli di Reggio Emilia and Falstaff in Salzburg. He has just obtained great success performing in La clemenza di Tito at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich and in Il barbiere di Siviglia in Cagliari, and making his role debut as Papageno in Die Zauberflöte at the Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova.@Highlights of his future engagements include Don Giovanni (Leporello) in Trento, Bolzano and Rovigo, Così fan tutte in Ferrara and on a tour to Cuba, Don Pasquale in St Gallen, L'elisir d'amore at the Staatsoper unter den Linden di Berlino, Adelina at the Rossini Opera Festival di Pesaro, Il matrimonio segreto at Teatro Massimo di Palermo.
