| Born in Lugano, Denise Fedeli graduated in piano, composition and conducting from the «G. Verdi» conservatory of Milano. |
| After winning several international competitions she conducted many important orchestras such as the Orchestra of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the RSI Orchestra of Lugano, the Philharmonia Hungarica, the Münster Sinfonieorchester, the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento, the Orchestra della Toscana, the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana, the Orchestra of Bulgarian Radio in Sofia, the Minsk Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra da Camera di Padova e del Veneto, the Panstwowa Filharmonia in Olsztyn and the Filarmonica de Stat of Oradea. |
| She maintains an active collaboration with the «A. Toscanini» Symphony Orchestra of Emilia-Romagna. Highlights of her engagements with «A. Toscanini» Orchestra include the world premiere of Amorsacro/Amorprofano by Azio Corghi in 1994 with Cecilia Gasdia, concerts for «Di Nuovo Musica» in collaboration with the Wiener Mozart Festival and the new year concert in Bologna in 1995. She obtained a great success conducting a new production of Schönberg's Pierrot Lunaire in Parma and on a tour throughout Europe. |
| Her operatic credits include performances of works from 20th century as Nino Rota's La notte di un nevrastenico and Poulenc's La voix humaine, but also Mozart's Zaide di Mozart staged by Lorenzo Arruga. |
| Denise Fedeli is Principal Conductor of the Swiss Italian Conservatoire Orchestra, Lugano and of the «Oggi Musica» ensemble, specialised in promoting Swiss contemporary composers. |
| She collaborates with Radio and TV broadcasting in Swiss, Germany, French and Italy, having performed, among other things, Fauré's Requiem and Mozart's Symphony No.41 «Jupiter» with the Orchestra «Milano Classica » for Tele+ 3. |
