| Born in Molfetta, he begins his musical studies, after graduating in Politics, at the "Hochschule Mozarteum" in Salzburg, with M0 R. Knoll. Later, he carries on the studies with soprano Iris Adami Corradetti, then with M0 Pier Miranda Ferraro, and after with Franco Corelli and Carlo Bergonzi, with whom he actually studies. He takes part in many international Competitions, among which the "F. Mecenati", "Santa Margherita Ligure", "T. Schipa", arriving among the first three winners and obtaining special mention, and wins then the "K. Ricciarelli".He makes his debut as the protagonist in "Gianni Schicchi" at 39° Festival Puccini in Torre del Lago, and debuts later in the main Italian Opera Houses in operas like "La Traviata", "Il Trovatore", "La Bohème" (Marcello), "Madama Butterfly", "Manon Lescaut", "Pagliacci" (Silvio), "Zaza'", "Lodoletta", of which has been produced a CD for Foné company, working with conductors like Gianandrea Gavazzeni, Angelo Campori, Massimo De Bernart, Maurizio Arena, Gustav Kuhn. Recently, he has sung Germont in a "Traviata" production together with the scholars of Carlo Bergonzi's Academy, at Parma's Teatro Regio, and "Madama Butterfly" in Pittsburgh. He later made his debut in "Un ballo in maschera", in Parma. |
