 "A new Star" - "A World-class Violetta" - So expressed the first international press reviews at the debut of this soprano, already well known at the main European Theatres.

After graduating brilliantly as violinist at the Mantua Conservatory in Italy, she studied singing with the soprano Alda Borelli Morgan and with the tenor Carlo Bergonzi, attending the Accademia Chigiana in Siena and highly advanced courses at the Association "Amici del Loggione del Teatro alla Scala" in Milan. In 1994 she won the Viotti International Competition in Vercelli.

In 1995 she debuts with a triumphal success as Violetta in Verdi's La Traviata in Madrid with the famous tenor Alfredo Kraus. Successively she interprets this role more than 150 times in many theatres: Grand Théatre de Genève, Teatro Verdi in Trieste, Teatro Municipale in Udine, Teatro Comunale in Piacenza, Opéra Royale de Wallonie in Liège, Stadttheater in St. Gallen, Wiesbaden Festival, Bremen Theatre, Oper Leipzig, Staatstheater in Braunschweig , Teatro Argentina in Rome, Deutsche Oper in Berlin, Vlaamse Opera in Antverp, New Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv, etc.
She has been great performer of Mimi in La Bohème at the 39th Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago, at the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid, at the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome, at the Teatro Grande in Brescia, at the Cologne Staats-Oper, at the Teatro Rendano in Cosenza.
She interpreted with very big success the role of Luisa in Verdi's Luisa Miller at the Nederlandse Opera in Amsterdam, at the Opernhaus in Zürich, at the Edimburg Festival (Covent Garden production), at the Deutsche Oper in Berlin, at the Aalto Theater in Essen, at the Valamse Opera in Antwerp; the Queen Aspasia in Mozart's Mitridate Re di Ponto at the Grand Théatre in Genève and at the Opernhaus in Zürich.
Her admirable Mozart interpretations continued with the role of Donna Anna in Don Giovanni at the National Theater of Mannheim, and Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte under the direction of Giorgio Strehler at the Nuovo Piccolo Teatro in Milan, at the Teatro Valli in Reggio Emilia, at the Théatre Des Arts in Rouen, at the Nissay Theatre in Tokyo, at the Teatro Verdi in Trieste, at the Teatro del Giglio in Lucca, at the Festivals of Santander, Peralada and Wiesbaden, and successively under the direction of Philippe Arlaud at the Nancy Opéra, Caen Opéra and at the Festival of Baden-Baden, at the Teatro Arriaga in Bilbao and the Auditorio Navarra in Pamplona;
At the New Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv she fired with enthusiasm the public interpreting the role of Amelia in Simon Boccanegra.
She was also a fine performer of Amina in L’Elisir d’Amore of Donizetti at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo.
Very important also is her concert activity, for which she was especially appreciated at the Segovia Festival, at the Auditorio Nacional de Musica in Madrid, at the Henry Crown Hall in Jerusalem, at the Museum of Arts and at the Performing Arts Centre in Tel Aviv, interpreting: Verdi's Requiem, Mozart's Requiem, the Messe solennelle (S. Caecilia) by Gounod, Rossini's Stabat Mater, Mozart's Vesperae Solennes de Confessore.

Opernwelt named her "Best Joung Singer of the Year" in 1996 for her interpretation of La Traviata at the Oper Leipzig.
