 Prior to embarking on her music studies, the soprano singer Arabelle Rozinek completed a three-year dance and gymnastik course in Zürich under Ursula Kasics, which resulted in her obtaining the SBTG Diploma.
She then studied singing under Ingrid Frauchiger at the Conservatory of Music and Dance in Berne, which she completed with a teaching and concert diploma. Further studies at the Music Academy in Basel completed her training for which she was awarded a diploma in opera singing.
She then took courses run by Madame Evelyne Brunner in France, and Romeo Alavi Kia in Vienna and master courses under Edith Mathis, Ernst Haefliger, and Richard Miller as well as a song interpretation course under Marianne Kohler and Gérard Wyss. She has also won first prize in the Zürich Belcanto competiton.
Arabelle Rozinek has given singing recitals and church concerts in Switzerland and abroad. On the occasion of the Swiss EXPO 2002, she sang in Philip Roth’s Toggenburg Passion in Biel.
Ms Rozinek has sung various roles in the Bernese Stadttheater where she was engaged for four years both in singing and acting roles. Since 2001, she has been a member of the Edelvoice Ensemble. www.edelvoice.ch
Nowadays, Ms Rozinek is a freelance performer and she has succeeded in making a name for herself through her opera, operetta and musical performances.
