Future guest performances will take the internationally active baritone to the German Opera Berlin as MACBETH, to the Comic Opera Berlin as PIZARRO and to the Festival on the Isle of Herrenchiemsee as RIGOLETTO. He will return to the Leipzig Opera as KURWENAL and will lso perform this role in guest performances with the Leipzig Opera in China. Anton Keremidtchiev has already sung at the Hamburg State Opera, the Comic Opera Berlin, the Wiesbaden State Theatre, the German Opera on the Rhine, the Opera House Bonn , the Frankfort and the Cologne Opera , the Opera de Bastille in Paris and many others. At the Mannheim National Theatre he is regularly invited to sing gala-performances. He could already be heard here as ALFIO in ‘Cavalleria Rusticana’ with Agnes Balta, as ESCAMILLO and as KURWENAL in ‘Tristan und Isolde’ with Luana DeVol and John Treleaven. In this last role he also achieved particular succes at the Opera House Frankfort, in Halle and at the Lubeck State Theatre. In Lubeck he also made his successful debut as TELRAMUND. Moreover, the baritone portrayed the CONTE in ‘Le Nozze di Figaro’ at the Leipzig Opera and 2007 he made hisremarkable debuts as AMONASRO in Aida at the Munster City Theatre and as MILLER in Luisa Miller at the German National Theatre Weimar. He obtained his diploma with distinction at the Bulgarian State Conservatory in Sofia and continued his vocal training with Boris Christoff in Rome. Moreover, he took master-classes at the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro under the conduction of Professor Alberto Zedda. The native Bulgarian with Italian nationality began his professional singing career as a bass singer. At first, he performed as a soloist at the Sofia State Opera. Afterwards, he soon was offered guestparts in performances of the Teatro Verdi Trieste, the Teatro Massimo Palermo, the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro and in Treviso , where he twice was a finalist of the ‚Toti dal Monte’ Contest. Moreover, he sang in Paris, Valencia, Oviedo and Moscow. Under the direction of Claude Thiolas, Anton Keremedtchiev moved 1997 to the baritone-repertory and made his successful debut with JAGO, as a result of which he sang this part in numerous guest performances. Later on, he became a member of the Coburg Opera for two years and from 1998 until 2003 he was permanently engaged at the Darmstadt State Theatre, where he still regularly sings guest performances. Meanwhile, Anton Keremidtchiev’ s repertory includes roles such as Monforte (I Vespri Siciliani), Renato, Ezio (Attila), Marcello, Sharpless, Goulod, Peter (Hänsel und Gretel), the four villains in ‚The Tales of Hoffmann’, Escamillo, Alfio, just to name a few. In May 2008 he portrayed KLINGSOR in ‘Parsifal’ at the Richard Wagner Festival in Wels (Austria) and in 2009 he returned here in the same role.. In the same year he could also be heard here as the King’s HERALD in ‘Lohengrin’. In March 2009 he made his highly acclaimed debut as KURWENAL at the Leipzig Opera House and in automn 2009 he portrayed ESCAMILLO at the Helsinki National Opera. In December 2009 he celebrated a huge personal cusses as TELRAMUND at the the Dortmund Opera House (directed by Christine Mielitz).
