| Born in Tbilisi (Georgia), Diana Veronese graduated with full marks at the Conservatory of her native town in 1993. After her initial activity in the mezzo soprano roles (Azucena, Amnerís, Carmen), she moved to the dramatic soprano repertoire. |
| In 1993 she was the recipient of a prestigious grant from the Us Government, that gave her the chance to study at the Manhattan School of Music in New York under the guidance of Marlena Malas and Kehmal Khan. There she obtained, in 1995, the Full Scholarship and the 'Professional Studies' Diploma. |
| Diana Veronese made her operatic debut in New York singing as Madre in Ralph Vaughan Williams's Riders to the Sea, under the baton of Denn Saunden. She also took part in several concerts for important musical associations of New York. |
| In Summer 1995 she took part in the Chautauqua Festival and sang as soloist at the Batumi Theatre (Georgia). |
| Diana Veronese subsequently travelled to Italy, where she specialised with Carlo Bergonzi and Jenny Anvelt. She then was a finalist of such important competitions as the Leyla Geincer of Istanbul (1995) and Jaume Aragall of Gerona (1999). |
| On April and May 2001 she sang the role of Beatrice in Wolf-Ferrari's Le donne curiose at the Opernhaus in Zurich. She has just made her successful debuts in the role of Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana in Pisa, and at Halle Opernhaus with Turandot (Princess Turandot). |
| Forthcoming engagements of Diana Veronese include the debut on the stage of the Teatro Municipal in Santiago, Chile, in Macbeth (Lady Macbeth). |
| Her operatic repertoire also includes, among others, the roles of Isolde in Tristan und Isolde and of Sieglinde in Die Walküre by Wagner, and the title role of Ponchielli's Marion Delorme. @ |
