| Giuseppe Sabbatini started singing after having begun his musical life as a double bass player. He has won many national and international voice competitions including the «A.Belli» Competition in Spoleto (1987), and was the recipient of the «Björling Prize» in 1987, the «Caruso» and the «Lauri Volpi» Prizes of 1990, the 1991 «Abbiati Prize» for Vocal Interpretation, and the 1996 «Tito Schipa» Prize. |
