Peter Dvorsky, a Slovak tenor, graduated from opera singing at the Bratislava Conservatoire under supervision of Professor Ida Cernecká. Still as a student, he became a solo singer of the Opera of the Slovek National Theatre in Bratislava, where he made his debut in opera 'Eugen Onegin'-Lenskij (1972). He won the national singing contest named ather Mikulás Schneider-Trnavský at Tnava (1973), became the prizewinner of the P.I. Tchaikovsky International Competition in Moscow (1974), gained absolute superiority in men category at the international contest in Geneva in 1975 and left for a one-year stay to the Scala in Milan - Professors Renata Carosia and Giuseppe Lugga. His repertoire concentrates on tenor characters from pieces of Italien and Slavic opera.
