| Since his debuts, Bruno Campanella has collaborated with important theatrical institutions: the Opéra National de Paris, where he conducted I Capuleti e i Montecchi, Lucia di Lammermoor, L'italiana in Algeri, La Cenerentola, Guillaume Tell, Lucia di Lammermoor, Norma, Il barbiere di Siviglia; the Wiener Staatsoper, in which he led L'italiana in Algeri, Linda di Chamounix and Jérusalem; the Teatro alla Scala (Il cappello di paglia di Firenze and La Cenerentola); the Metropolitan Opera House in New York, where, during the 1999/2000 season, he was the conductor of La Cenerentola and Il barbiere di Siviglia and, more recently, of L'italiana in Algeri and Il pirata. |

Bruno Campanella has recently gained a great success with the conducting of I Capuleti e i Montecchi at the Royal Opera House-Covent Garden in London and at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, as well as with his debut on the podium of the New National Theatre in Tokyo (La Traviata). |

| Bruno Campanella was Music Director of the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio di Torino from January 1992 to June 1995, as which time he was named Principal Guest Conductor. His performances in Turin date from 1984, during which time he has led L'Ajo nell'imbarazzo (1984), Il barbiere di Siviglia (1987 and 1991), Don Pasquale (1988), L'elisir d'amore (1988), L'italiana in Algeri (1992), Falstaff (1993), Lucia di Lammermoor (1993), I Capuleti e i Montecchi (1993), La cenerentola (1994), La fille du régiment (1994), Jérusalem and The Turn of the Screw (1995), I puritani and Cendrillon (1996), Roberto Devereux (1997), Le Comte Ory, La traviata and The Rake's Progress (1999). |
