| During 30 consecutive seasons with The Royal Opera his roles have included Nick ('La fanciulla del West'), Four Tenor Roles ('Les Contes d'Hoffmann'), Pong ('Turandot'), Bardolfo ('Falstaff') and Mozart's Basilio. |
| His wide repertory ranges from the Captain ('Wozzeck') through the Italian Tenor ('Capriccio') to the Witch ('Hansel und Gretel'). |
| He has made many recordings and videos and two feature films. He also appears at Covent Garden this Season in 'Wozzeck' and 'The Cunning Little Vixen'. |
