| His debut in Verdi's Messa da Requiem in Zurich (1998) conducted by Franz Welser-Möst was an outstanding success, as well as his recent Alfredo in La traviata at the Metropolitan Opera in New York and at the Opernhaus in Zurich. He has just taken part in a new production of Simon Boccanegra at the Teatro Municipal in Santiago, Chile, in Rigoletto (Duca di Mantova) at the Houston Grand Opera, Cagliari and at Wiener Staatsoper, as Rodolfo in La Bohème at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, in Houston and Cagliari. He also made his successful debuts on the stage of the Baltimore Opera Company in a new production of Lucia di Lammermoor, and in Frankfurt, with the Frankfurt Museums Orchester, in Verdi's Messa da Requiem, under the baton of Carignani. |
| Future seasons will bring him to the world's most prestigious opera houses, such as the Metropolitan Opera (La Bohème, Madama Butterfly), the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich (La traviata, Madama Butterfly), the Lyric Opera of Chicago and the Teatro Comunale di Bologna (Madama Butterfly), the Wiener Staatsoper (La Bohème and La traviata), Oper Frankfurt (Jérusalem), the Festival Internacional of Santander (Simon Boccanegra).
