His debut in Verdi's Messa da Requiem in Zurich (1998) conducted by Franz Welser-Möst was an outstanding success, as well as his recent Alfredo in La traviata at the Metropolitan Opera in New York and at the Opernhaus in Zurich. Future seasons will bring him to the world's most prestigious opera houses, such as the Metropolitan Opera (La Bohème, Madama Butterfly), the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich (La traviata, Madama Butterfly), the Lyric Opera of Chicago and the Teatro Comunale di Bologna (Madama Butterfly), the Wiener Staatsoper (La Bohème and La traviata), Oper Frankfurt (Jérusalem), the Festival Internacional of Santander (Simon Boccanegra).
