| She has also enjoyed success on the concert stage, having performed Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, Donizetti's Requiem in memoria di Bellini, Mozart's Requiem, Orff's Carmina Burana, Rossini's Stabat Mater and Poulenc's Gloria. |
| After her international debut with I puritani at the Wiener Staatsoper in 1997, her extensive career has brought her to perform in such theatrical institutions as the Hamburgische Staatsoper, the Oper Frankfurt, the Opéra de Marseille, the Concertgebow and the Nederlanse Opera in Amsterdam, the Wiener Staatsoper, the Detroit Michigan Opera Theatre, the Teatro alla Scala, the Teatro Regio di Torino, the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, the Teatro Verdi di Trieste. |
| Stefania Bonfadelli enjoys a continuous collaboration with the Wiener Staatsoper, where she sang in such operas as Guglielmo Tell, Lucia di Lammermoor, La traviata, Il barbiere di Siviglia, La sonnambula, Roméo et Juliette, Rigoletto, Les contes d'Hoffmann. | She has recently portrayed with success the roles of Violetta at Covent Garden in London, at the Teatro Verdi di Busseto (staged by Zeffirelli and led by Domingo), at the Opernhaus in Zurich, at the Deutsche Oper in Berlin and at Japan Opera Foundation in Tokyo, of Amina in La sonnambula at the Teatro alla Scala, Elvira in I Puritani at the Teatro Massimo Bellini di Catania and in Liège, and Lucia at the Deutsche Oper in Berlin and in Avignon, and made her debuts in the role of Despina in Così fan tutte in Tokyo (under the baton of Osawa) and at the Rossini Opera Festival as Lisetta in La Gazzetta. |
