During the 2001-2002 season, Maestro Buckley conducts Street Scene, returning for the tenth time to the Lyric Opera of Chicago. No other American conductor has led more main-stage performances at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. He opened the Santa Fe Opera summer Festival with Lucia, conducts Faust with Florida Grand Opera, Tosca with Opera Colorado, and Lucia with the Baltimore Opera. Future engagements include opera productions in Portland, Salt Lake, Miami, Chicago, and Seattle. |

Mr. Buckley has served as Music Director of the Oakland Symphony., Principal Guest Conductor of the Seattle Symphony, and also held posts as Conductor for the Pacific Northwest Ballet, as well as the Seattle and Washington Operas.
