| Born in Rovigo, she takes her diploma in 1990, with top score, at the "F. Venezze" Music School. Later, she follows the Masterclasses at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, at the Martina Franca Festival and at the Milan Scuola Civica, under the teaching, amonng the others, of Carlo Bergonzi and Rodolfo Celletti. She sings at the Montepulciano Festival, at the Valle d'Itria one, and makes her debut in the Theatres of Rovigo, Treviso, and at the Umanitaria Theatre in Milan. In 1995 she debuts in Bergamo, at the Donizetti Theatre, as the main character in Mayr's "L'intrigo della lettera", and is later Asteria in the first modern performance of Spontini's "Teseo riconosciuto", at the Jesi Pergolesi Theatre, under the baton of M0 Alberto Zedda. Of those performances, a CD is published for Bongiovanni label. She also begins to specialize in contemporary opera, and sings the main role of the modern opera buffa "Il giudizio universale", by C. Ambrosini, at the Festival delle nazioni of Citta' di Castello; she also takes part in the contemporary operas like "Una favola per caso", "Orfeo cantando tolse" and "Hommage a Mina". She later came back in Bergamo, in "Il barbiere di Siviglia", and as Mme Herz in Mozart's "Die Schauspieldirektor" she debuts in Ascoli. Moreover, she has been engaged in Dordrecht Belcanto Festival for a concert on Arditi and Tirindelli rare songs. She performs an intense concert activity, from the baroque to the contemporary music. |
